For over 15 years, Dr. Nicky Patel worked in hospital settings across multiple states. He watched thousands of patients receive IV therapy for dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, migraines, and recovery. He saw firsthand how quickly the right IV could transform how someone felt.

The problem was access. Patients who could benefit most from IV hydration and vitamin infusions had to visit a hospital or clinic, wait for hours, and navigate the healthcare system for what should be a straightforward treatment.

In 2024, Dr. Patel founded Sarasota IV Doctors to change that. He built a mobile practice that brings physician-grade IV therapy directly to homes, hotels, offices, and even boats throughout the Sarasota-Bradenton area. No waiting rooms. No hospital markups. Dr. Nicky Patel, MD

Dr. Nicky Patel is a board-certified internist with more than 15 years of experience in hospital-based medicine. He completed his residency at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, one of the nation's leading internal medicine training programs, where he developed deep expertise in fluid management, nutritional support, and acute care.

After years of practicing across multiple states, Dr. Patel recognized a gap in healthcare delivery. The same IV therapies that made a measurable difference for his hospital patients were simply not available outside clinical settings. Patients had to be sick enough for admission, or go without.

That realization became the foundation of Sarasota IV Doctors. Dr. Patel built a practice where he personally reviews every patient's medical history before treatment begins. He customizes each IV formula based on individual health profiles, medications, and wellness goals. This is not a one-size-fits-all drip bar. It is a medical practice that happens to come to you.
